These materials maybe helpful in any appeal, but are written specifically for aid in dependency and neglect appeals from an adjudication or, more frequently, from an order of termination of parental rights and delinquency appeals. Parents appealing from a termination order rarely prevail, because of the surfeit of discretion inherently granted the trial court judge by the nature of the action, and the decisions are rarely published.
